Bhavesh Joshi
BSc. Osteopathy, Dip. TCM Acupuncture, Dip. Ayurveda (India), NPL
Principal of London School of Massage.

Bhavesh began a career in Osteopathy in 1989, at the British School of Osteopathy. Upon qualification, he set up several clinics before establishing London School of Massage (formally Body Basics) in 1994.

He held the post of Senior Lecturer (Applied Anatomy) and Clinical Supervisor at the London School of Osteopathy (1995 - 2000), and has also worked for the British School of Osteopathy as a "Demonstrator in Anatomy", lecturing at the Royal College of Surgeons.

During its accreditation stage with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), Bhavesh took on the role of Clinical Director at the College of Osteopaths (July 2000) and lectured at the College in Integrated Anatomy, as well as tutoring in the school outpatient clinic as a Senior Clinician.

He is a qualified Assessor and Internal Verifier for the Vocational Training Charitable Trust.

Bhavesh is also qualified in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and trained in Ayurvedic treatments and massage techniques in Central and South India.

He teaches the diploma courses in Anatomy, Physiology & Holistic Massage, Sports Injuries & Massage, Advanced Bodywork, Indian Head Massage and Ayurvedic Massage.

Lynnea Arnold
Infant & Baby Massage & Baby Yoga Instructor

Lynnea is a qualified practicioner with over 6 years experience in several branches of massage therapies and post-natal birth support. In addition to promoting the health benefits of holistic massage, pregnancy massage, baby massage and baby yoga, she is an active volunteer and run a natural mothers parenting group in West Hertfordshire once a month focusing on natural immunity and vaccination issues. She works with women after birth on a regular basis and enjoy providing a post-natal support service that is so greatly needed in this country.

She is a founder of the UK’s first ever placenta encapsulation service which offers new mothers the unique opportunity to benefit from their placenta in a variety of different remedies made by specialists after birth.

Arvin V. Refuerzo

Arvin began his career in the medical field in 1995 and now manages a team of nurses in a busy NHS rehabilitation unit in London.

His interest in complementary health stemmed from seeing the effects of stress in his working environment and this lead him to qualify in Holistic Massage and Reflexology as well as other advanced body therapy techniques.

He then became passionate in the delivery of the massage ethos through education and incorporates his background on Anatomy & Physiology and Nursing in his lectures.

He also integrates varied methodologies in his own private practice as well as carrying out regular voluntary work within charities and the NHS.

Arvin teaches a variety of complementary therapies including ITEC Anatomy & Physiology/Holistic Massage and First Aid.


Mark Embley
BSc. Exercise & Sports Science
Sports Massage & Holistic Massage

Mark initially trained in San Antonio, Texas as a Physical Education teacher with a bachelors’ Degree in Exercise & Sports Science.

Mark’s interest in complementary treatments first began during his 5 year scholarship playing soccer in Texas.

Ongoing injuries that finally put an end to playing football. This was the first time he had exposure to the affects of acupuncture, Reiki, and holistic massage. It was at this point he realised the true benefit of Complementary Therapy.

Since then Mark has attained an ITEC diploma in Anatomy, Physiology & Holistic Massage, F.A. coaching awards, and status as a personal trainer.

He runs his own private clinic treating a variety of clients ranging fom Sports Injuries, to Coaching and Body Massage.


Yogesh Dave

Yogesh initially trained and qualified to work within the Pharmaceutical Industry in the East Midlands region.

Yogesh's interest in complementary health first began nine years ago when a personal injury led him to visit a body therapist where he experienced and realised the true benefit of Complementary Therapy.

His interest grew and led him to attain an ITEC diploma in Anatomy, Physiology & Holistic Massage.

Yogesh became more interested in complementary health and pursued further training as an instructor and led him to further attain a Sports Injury qualification as well as becoming an Indian Head Massage Instructor.

He is also a qualified Assessor and Internal Verifier for the Vocational Training Charitable Trust.

He teaches the diploma courses in Anatomy, Physiology & Holistic Massage, Sports Injuries and Indian Head Massage.

Shereena Nain
BSc. (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP

Shereena qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Brunel University.

She currently practises at a number of busy clinics as well as working as a Specialist Occupational Health Physiotherapist for the BBC, The Financial Times and Newham General University NHS Hospital.

In her work, she has also been involved in the treatment of the Brunel Hurricane Netball squad as well as the Thames Rowing Club.

Throughout her working experience, she realised her passion lay within the realms of musculoskeletal treatments and utilises the manual therapy techniques of Mulligan, Maitland and McMullen as well as Sports Massage techniques and Deep Tissue Massage in the treatment of her clients.

Shereena teaches on the ITEC Sports Injuries & Massage Diploma as well as the FHT Deep Tissue Massage course.

She is also qualified in Clinical Acupuncture and Pilates for Physiotherapists (both CSP Accredited).

Tony Sharkey
Aromatherapy, Holistic massage, Hot Stone Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage & Reiki Healing

Tony spent the majority of his professional life as a senior automotive executive living and working in Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic and Italy.

A spinal injury led him to develop a huge interest in holistic massage therapies over the last 6 years, in particular Aromatherapy and Reiki. After some reflection he decided to make a complete lifestyle change and dedicate the next phase of his life as a qualified holistic practitioner.

Following the achievement of his professional ITEC qualifications he began to practice privately in Italy and went on to qualify as a Reiki practitioner in which he achieved the Master Teacher level. Although content with his new way of life treating and healing people with a wide range of both emotional and physical problems he was keen to use his management and presentation skills to bring the rewards of Aromatherapy and Reiki to a wider audience. He is committed to spreading the added value and enhancement a qualified knowledge of Aromatherapy and Reiki can bring to all forms and styles of holistic therapy.

Tony teaches ITEC level 3 Aromatherapy, Reiki and Lymphatic Drainage Massage.



Tracie D'Souza
BSc. (Hons) Occupational Therapy, Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Hopi Ear Candles,
Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage / Chair Massage

Tracie’s qualified as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and gained her BSc. (Hons.) degree in 1998. She recently managed the Occupational Therapy service, covering two hospital sites for Peninsula Health in Melbourne, Australia.

Tracie practiced as an O.T. in a number of fields including in long term and acute mental health, learning disabilities, hospital settings such as surgery, orthopedics and medicine and then returned full circle to Social Services until finally setting up as an independent practitioner with a special interest in oncology and palliative care.

This special interest led her to look into becoming a more holistic practitioner where she completed courses in ITEC Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage and Reflexology as well as completing and practicing Reiki, Hot Stone Therapy and Deep Tissue Massage. She is also a student fieldwork educator and mentor to Occupational Therapy students endeavoring to become qualified practitioners and tries to keep her knowledge and practice in all studied therapies up to date.

She has now extended her role to include that of a Corporate Trainer, working for Body Basics in offering the corporate world an introduction to the world of holistic therapies.

Christo Koukoullis
BSc (Hons) Sports Rehab. & Injury Prevention, GSR, NASM CPT, ITEC dip

Christo graduated from Middlesex University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention. He has also received an award from the London Sports Institute honouring excellence in sports achievement.

During the course of his Academic study Christo had the opportunity to work alongside medical professionals in treating athletic injuries in a variety of sports at junior, collegiate and amateur level, including sports teams in the UK and the USA. He is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and an Advanced Instructor with the register of exercise professionals UK.

He currently works with a number of sports teams managing musculoskeletal injuries and teaches the ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage Injuries.
